What you can do to Help

Censorship in North Korea is a serious issue for many reasons. The inability to access unbiased media and the fear of using free speech are not problems that should be taken lightly. When a country is filled with citizens who are scared to speak out on even the most basic topics, or are worried about the safety of their lives for simply expressing themselves and their opinions, it should be taken completely serious. Action must be taken in order to help innocent people who lack basic human rights. Not being able to have free speech or press goes against a right that should be given to every man, woman and child. A world where the expressions of people are limited and censored are not places where people would want to live. Whenever a human right is violated, it is important to take action and help other people. There are many different organizations that can help this problem. Below are a few of them.

  1. Which one of the 5 links/ organizations would you recommend over the others, and why? I support the cause but I don't have the time to really shuffle through the different websites and figure out which is the most effective way to help. - Austin James
